The Morning Line is a fast-paced transatlantic thriller with a gripping plot and characters that will stay with you long after you've read the last page. The IRA (including at least one parish priest), English "gentlemen" (also known as MI5), and American gangsters plot and advance their activities in the British Isles, Boston and Nantucket Island. Their plans and devious actions come to a head in upstate New York with the running of the Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. Those who have been to Saratoga Springs will recognize the beautiful and unique settings that provide for the story's exciting conclusion. Present strangers to "the Spa" will quickly add the area to their travel plans.
The Docent draws on Tom’s hometown roots and background in the practice of law to create a legal thriller set in Greater Boston. The plot centers on the infamous and still unsolved Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist and a bitter family court battle featuring parties and lawyers of questionable ethics. Local Boston color, unexpected plot turns, and intriguing characters are the hallmark of this recently published novel.
Tom anticipates finishing his third novel, Bermuda High, for publication next year.
